#62: Flood works in Belair Park – the Feb. 5, 2013 meeting.

This meeting became a useful workshop at which Matthew
Jessop of Mouchel could discuss with a small group, the work
which his firm was undertaking for the London Borough of
Southwark.

Many regulars and representatives of local groups had sent
apologies, having family commitments or being required at
other meetings, and the bitterly cold night with driving rain
did not help attendance from general park users. This meant
that we were unable to carry out a meaningful public
consultation, as intended, but, after discussions with other
interested parties, will pursue alternative arrangements.

way in which the process (which is at a very early stage) has
been developing and how it may be carried forwards with
gains for ecology and amenity.
