Flood Relief works – Meeting: Tues 25th March

this has been received from Gary Rice, Head of Development at Southwark Council regarding the meeting about flood works in Belair Park:

TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 (as amended)

APPLICATION FOR COUNCIL’S OWN DEVELOPMENT UNDER REG. 3

RE: BELAIR RECREATION GROUND, GALLERY ROAD, LONDON SE21 7AB

Proposal: Localised earth modelling, including construction of low earth bunds, spillways and a detention basin, to temporarily contain surface water to the north of the park and increase the floodable area around the lake, as part of a wider flood alleviation scheme (including works at Dulwich Park and the Southwark Community Sports Trust grounds).

I refer to the above application on which you have submitted comments. It will be considered by the Council’s Planning Committee which meets on:

time 19:00

Recommended decision: Grant permission
