DRAFT PLAN FOR GREENDALE FIELDS

FOBP reproduce the invite from Jonathan Coe of Friends of Greendale:

Hi all,

The first meeting of the Friends of Greendale will be on Thursday August 7th from 6.30 to 7.45pm at The Albrighton Community Centre, Albrighton Rd, SE22 8AH. As they kindly will not charge us for this we have to leave the building when it stops being staffed at 8pm.

Attached is the draft constitution and a proposed set of activities for the first year, both of which arise from the meeting on the 22nd July.

Members attending will be invited to discuss and agree the constitution and activities.

The overall objective is proposed as:

To protect, conserve and enhance Greendale Fields, Camberwell, for the benefit of wildlife and people.

People with an interest in being part of the organising committee please could you get in touch and make yourselves known as soon as possible? There are spaces for between 3 and 7 people.

Also, please could we have a volunteer to take notes – they don’t need to be detailed, just a record of key points and decisions.

We also hope to soft launch the website that day.

Watch out for pieces in the Dulwich and South London Press – it is understood that Southwark are planning to consult and have indicated that they will be carrying out their own consultation.

FYI there are 57 emails on this list. We will circulate also via Twitter and blogs – please do forward this far and wide.
