A NEW PUBLIC PARK FOR SOUTHWARK

Full marks to the London Borough of Southwark for promoting this major green initiative – which is both exciting and much needed. Now you can play your part.

The plan is to transform Green Dale fields in Camberwell into a new park for the community.

Southwark’s parks newsletter requested public input: “This big area of open space, just behind Dog Kennel Hill Open Space and Sainsburys, is full of potential and we want to hear your views on what can be done with it. If we did create a new park here, what would you like to see in it?”

THE FRIENDS OF BELAIR PARK URGE YOU TO REGISTER SUPPORT FOR THIS PLAN ONLINE AT:

www.southwark.gov.uk/greendale.

The deadline is Sunday 24 August, 2014.

A Friends of Green Dale was formed at a meeting held on Thursday August 7, 2014 at the Albrighton Community Centre, Albrighton Road, SE22 8AH.
